The General Social Survey on Time Use collects diary data on individuals for a reference day; it provides data on average time spent per day on a series of activities such as paid work, unpaid work, and leisure time. The unique data from this survey are included in the unpaid work module, where they are displayed alongside the feminist political economy literature on domestic labour, social reproduction, and time use more specifically. Data are available for 1986, 1992 and 1998.
