Cycle 10 of the General Social Survey collected information on the nature of social and community support both received and provided. It includes respondents' social networks, temporary and long-term difficult times and activity limitations. Information on various socio-economic factors and employment arrangements is also collected. Survey data are therefore useful in examining unpaid work, as well as gender, work and disability. Data are only available for one year (1995), however.
